VM Allen This photo, taken at the Newport News Park RC (#3504) Founders Day celebration on September 10, 2000, shows Newport News Vice Mayor Charles Allen flying on a buddy box with NNPRC President Larry Rash. This is a good way to get your local officials involved!

Spitfire Here's the latest from Frank Blow: a TopFlite Gold Edition Spitfire. It weighs 10 3/4 pounds and is powered by an OS .91 FS. The Spit has retracts and is guided by an Airtronics radio. The paint is Rustoleum on Coverite.

ESAC #1 This is the first of three pictures Stephen Piasecki, President of the Eastern Shore Aeromodelers Club (#4095), sent of their beautiful field.

ESAC #2 A low pass over the Eastern Shore Aeromodelers field. They fly everything from small electrics to gas.

ESAC #3 The Eastern Shore Aeromodelers are located in Hurlock, MD. There's plenty of room, and they invite anyone passing through to please stop by and fly.

Admirals Blimp Who says you can't fly R/C indoors? This is a picture of the Hampton Roads Admirals' blimp. Holding the blimp is the former pilot, Dave Evans, and to his left is his predecessor, Gary Collins. The Admirals have moved from the ECHL to the AHL, but the blimp keeps flying! Photo by Yvonne Paxson Photos.

T4C This is a picture of Frank Blow's grandson, Bryan Reale of Atlanta, with the airplane they built together on Bryan's summer vacation in North Carolina with Frank. It's a T4C by Craft-Air with an OS .25 and a new Airtronics VG400 radio. Bryan's new plane taxied exactly four weeks from the beginning of the project, and he was thrilled! Kids are the future.

Cub This picture, submitted by Frank Blow, was taken at the flying site of the Dare County RC Flyers (#2691), located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The plane is a Great Planes Piper Cub 60 with a 90-inch wingspan, an OS .60 FP engine, and an Airtronics Vanguard radio. The builder and pilot is Dewey Mann, who says he has 60 years experience building Piper Cubs, starting with a Comet Models 18-inch span, rubber band powered Cub that he built at age 14.

Telemaster B. C. Brewer, Vice President and Newsletter Editor of Central Virginia Radio Control Association in Lynchburg, sent this picture of his Senior Telemaster. It's powered by an OS .70 four-stroke, and it's covered with Sig Coverite and Sig dope. The Telemaster has a candy bay, and B. C. is currently building a camera mount for aerial shots. He says his next plane will be a 1/3 scale Gee Bee Z, and we sure hope to see a picture of that!

Skybolt This picture, from Frank Blow of the Dare County RC Flyers (#2691), shows his Skybolt with an OS .91 Surpass and an Airtronics radio. Frank says it's a fantastic flyer and that acrobatics are a SNAP!

T-6 Another picture from Frank Blow is of his Great Planes T-6 with OS .91 Surpass, retracts, flaps, and Airtronics radio. He says this is a docile flyer but that it is very acrobatic.

Aeromaster This is a picture from Frank Blow of an Aeromaster on floats. It looks a little overcast, but there's a lot of runway out there!

EAA Acrosport This picture, also from Frank Blow, is of a beautiful EAA Acrosport.
